PORTFOLIO OF WORK

THE EARLY MORNINGS

Ducks on the move

Opening day

A dark october night

Stars glisten in the sky

The trek begins as the sun is hours away

Cold and deep water

Silence is the only thing I hear

Walls of tules makeup the cover

Ducks sing and look for place to feed

Nature is a beautiful place

FIRE IN THE AIR

The gloom fills the beach

Expectations are high

With The orange sky

A shark feasts on a seal

As the surfers scatter

Death is in the water

Waves come and go

Crisp

Yet heavy

Beautiful

Yet

Catastrophic

About september 9th orange skys at rodeo beach while surfing and watching great white eat a seal next to us.

FIRE ON THE MOUNTAINS

High on the mountain tops is where I belong

The never ending climb is what I love

The uphill battle is what I seek

My foot steps may leave a trace

My actions shall leave a dent in in this world

Running into fires is not what creates the burn

Helping others stops me from making a turn

Not to be remembered

and not to be forgotten

I will never stop

Until everyone brought in

The rush mentality fills my head

I will not stop until i'm dead

Its never done for money,

nor fame

I want people to positively remember my name

MY TAKE ON POETRY

For myself I believe poetry is an art, and an art that comes in many forms and styles. I used no not like poetry until I read more and more. It goes hand in hand with music.  There are genres for everyone.
