WISHING WELL

Turn around. Trek back Through The Thick frosted grass
Open the door
as you do, you embrace the Fierce Flames Flustering from the Fire crackling inside.
keeping the Warmth within you, move towards the front door
grab your keys on the way out.
As you proceed to sit down behind the wheel,
you Realize,
you’ve been doing it all wrong,
So you Decide to go Backwards.
Having now arrived on the crack’d asphalt
Follow the narrow, windy road towards the city lights
The brightest lights are in the center square
In the center of the square is a Fluorescent water world.
Submerge yourself inside the Fountain, and splash your way back home.

FIGHT WITH MIGHT

To be able to win in this war

You must not be one to snore

For one must fight, and fight

Or they can be left drifting in the air,

Like a kite

For all the bruises and the blood

Have been continuously sliding down my face

Like mud

Nights get longer

Days get colder

We all get stronger

As we get older

Through all the trials and tribulations

I’ll find a way out,

I feel all of the good and bad vibrations

All around,

All around.

The wonders of the world

And all its beauty and wonder

Were never meant to be found easy

Making me wish I was young again

Where all I cared about was going outside

Riding my bike,

Getting steezy.

YOUNG BOY

Being young in the little Bubble,

That is Marin,

You really get shocked,

When you finally step out of it.

As I learned to speak,

I arrived at my 4th grade

Speech contest finals.

My mind racing,

Palms are beginning to sweat

But for some reason I thought

In Marin, all I had ever known

Was everyone did their best,

And everyone did great

I gave my best shot,

And as I had finished with the

Lady and the Alligator Purse,

My friends, teachers, and I

We're jumping for joy like a bunny in a garden.

However,

What took me out of my bubble

And attacked me like a snake

Lurking next to a biking trail,

Was someone I thought was my friend

Told me,

“You Suck”

I didn’t want to listen

But I still wonder everyday

Do I suck?
